Ugh, the light my fire one was atrociously boring. I also seem to be bugged and can't get the others. Hopefully they are better than that one.

Yeah, it was basically a vanquish that required you to go back and forth across the map, making it take even longer than a vanquish should. And then you had to do it again in HM.

I enjoyed the first one, probably the novelty of playing in Cantha with a purpose again combined with the Unity of Spirit and knowing I was working towards dual jittes.
Are the quests repeatable? I wouldn't mind doing them more than once on the same toon if they were. HM doesn't count.

question
the mobs change after completing a quest in an area if i'm reading this all correctly right? and these changes are permanent....
is there any downside to these perma changes besides lack of afflicted to farm for afflicted weaps? i'm not too fond of the idea of perma-changes...i like to keep my options open.

I love how there is no consideration for the number in the player's team for the rescue quest in Cho's Estate. No one should have a -60 dp 10 steps from the portal starting the quest. I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

Well I have finished the last quest and needless to say all were boring except for the last. It was long and intense due to the closeness of the new jade brotherhood mobs. It was nice however to see big versions of the afflicted even if they were underpowered for their size. You could really see the detail.

I don't understand what A-Net is doing. Are they giving us a bunch of "kill 10 rats" quests in order to make the transition from GW1 to GW2 that much more drastic?
Or maybe A-Net is just dumb.... At any rate, these quests suck.

Yup, its annoying but its doable still. You could use a consumable ally, and bring a prot hero. Those eles/rift hit hard.

These quests are boring as all holy hell. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have to "cleanse" all of Factions. This problem is further amplified by the fact that I found Factions to be the most boring campaign anyway.
Not a (purity) fan. Also recycled skins? What the flying hell.

So in the Jade Sea quests, they talk about how the sea is starting to "melt" and how killing the afflicted will speed up the process... so are we gonna actually start losing the Jade Sea as explorable area after completing this questline?

No way. The Live Team doesn't have the kind of resources to create new areas or make big graphical changes to exhisting ones so don't expect any physical changes to take place in the Jade Sea. They certainly won't prevent you from entering already exhisting areas after quests are completed.

After doing the Minister Cho Estate quest, I can't get any new quests from Zei Ri except for the HM version of Bukdek Byway, but I'm seeing several more Zei Ri quests on the wiki. What's up with that?
Do I have to repeat the quests on HM to unlock more? Or do some of the Lei Jeng quests?
